Q. I sent an email to Design, but I haven't gotten a response.
A. Design HOA requires everything to be in writing so that we can share communication with the board and to fulfill legal certain legal requirements. We also use email as 95% of our communication and always send out a welcome email to new HOAs. If you have not received any emails from Design HOA, please check your junk folder. Mark [email protected] as a safe sender to prevent further missed communications.
Q. Where do I mail my assessments?
A. ALL checks should be made out to your HOA (not Design) and mailed to PO Box 981506 West Sacramento, CA 95798 . Please write your home address in the memo line for proper account processing.
Q. I sent in payment. How do I know if it's been received?
A. Payment invoices are emailed directly from our software when payment is applied to your account. Please make sure [email protected] is marked as a safe sender. You may also want to check your junk/spam folder for our emails. If they are there, please mark them as safe.
Q. I've tried to call the office numerous times, but I can't get anyone to answer.
A. Design HOA is a very small business and our time is spent working with Boards, accounts payable and receivable, scheduling meetings and staying on top of changes in the laws and regulations. Due to the current laws, no complaints or suggestions will be taken over the phone, all correspondence must be done in writing so that the Board can be involved. If it is on a different matter and you cannot find the answer on the website, a member of our team will get back to you within 24 hours* (*during business hours).
Q. I have a neighbor who is throwing parties late into the night and I can't sleep, but I can't reach anyone at the office.
A. Design HOA specializes in HOA management rather than property management. Your HOA operates as a licensed entity under both Federal and Colorado State regulations. We collaborate closely with your Board to ensure compliance with the applicable laws governing your organization. Due to stringent legal requirements, we are limited in our ability to communicate with homeowners who are in violation; all interactions must be documented in writing, and violators are granted two consecutive 30-day periods to rectify their issues. As this is a civil matter, we advise reaching out to the police department, as they are not bound by the same regulations that govern HOA operations.
